There are taxis available from the station and should only take about 5 minutes to get to Upper New Walk. A taxi could drop you off at the end of Salisbury Road, or bring you round via Salisbury Avenue.
On Foot:
If you are feeling more energetic, then PRCI is about 10 minutes walk from the station (depending how long your legs are!). When leaving the station building turn left, up London Road and head up the hill. At the traffic lights with the church on the corner, turn right into University Road. Using the pedestrian access: After turning right onto University Road, cross over using the pedestrian lights and turn immediately left up the pedestrian access known as Upper New Walk. PRCI is part way up on the left hand side, just after the nursery.

From M1 junction 21/M69 (North end):
Please note that these may not be the quickest or shortest route to our offices, however we hope they will be the easiest to follow and avoid a right turn across London Road, which can be very busy at times. Please note that Upper New Walk is pedestrian access with only limited access to buildings. We have very limited parking at our premises and strongly advise you to park at the public car park on Granville Road, following these directions. Pedestrians can then access Upper New Walk from the London Road end of the car park (opposite side of Granville Road). If you have limited mobility, please let us know and we may be able to arrange for you to park at our offices.
Leave the M1 at Junction 21 and head towards Leicester - as you come off the motorway junction roundabout, get in the left hand lane, follow signposts for A563 OUTER RING ROAD, LEICESTER SOUTH/EAST, (also head initially towards Narborough/Enderby/ Oadby/Wigston) peeling off left under the bridge and round to the left.
Keep/filter left at the roundabout. (If you end up seeing Marks & Spencers - turn right at that roundabout, keep Fosse Park Shopping Centre to your left then turn left at the end.)
Follow A563 OUTER RING LEICESTER SOUTH/EAST for approx. five miles (you should keep Fosse Park Shopping Centre and Everards Brewery to your left). After passing these, continue straight over the next two roundabouts, following the A563 until you reach the third roundabout, the junction with the A6. Turn LEFT, signposted A6 CITY CENTRE.
At the next ROUNDABOUT continue STRAIGHT AHEAD. Victoria Park will be on your left. At the traffic lights, turn left into GRANVILLE ROAD and enter the Pay and Display car park on the left hand side, just after the pedestrian crossing.
Parking charges are up to 1hr £1.00, up to 2 hrs £1.40, up to 3 hours £2.30: (prices as at June 2008). Leave the car park on foot and cross over Granville Road via the pedestrian crossing. Ahead of you is the top of a pedestrianised street, Upper New Walk. Our offices at 148 are about three quarters of the way down on the right hand side.
IF YOU ARE LOST: Call Heather on 0116 222 5555 if you have problems and she will do her best to give you directions over the phone. If in doubt follow signs for the University of Leicester, (not De Montfort University), or follow signs for the railway station - we are half way between the two.
ALTERNATIVE PARKING: There is also some on-street parking available on Salisbury Road. It is then a very short walk to our offices (please see map). The parking meters charge 60p for up to one hour, £1.10 for up to two hours and £3.10 for up to12 hours parking (prices as at June 2008).
